Sumitomo Chemical India Limited recently faced an accident at their Bhavnagar site in Gujarat on February 24, 2023.
Following this incident, the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) issued an order on its website, instructing the company to restrict and close its operations at the Bhavnagar site. The GPCB has set certain conditions that the company must fulfill before resuming its operations.
It is noteworthy that the company has already taken several steps to fulfill the conditions set forth by the GPCB. They are also actively working to comply with the remaining instructions and resume operations at the Bhavnagar site as soon as possible.
