SRF Limited has announced that a project to establish a second BOPP film line and metallizer at Indore, with an estimated cost of Rs 4.24 billion has been approved.
On August 25, 2022, the project was launched and capitalised for a total of Rs 4.24 billion.
The board of directors of SRF Ltd had given their approval for the installation of a second BOPP film line and metallizer at Indore in the first week of November 2020.
It has suggested to add 60,000 MTPA of capacity at a cost of Rs 4.24 billion through a combination of internal accruals and financing.
The expansion was justified by the growing BOPP market in both India and abroad, as well as the requirement to be able to provide customers with services for the whole range of BOPP products.
