India’s Vishnu Chemicals Reports 6.5% Rise in QoQ Q1FY21 Net Profit

Vishnu Chemicals Ltd., a chemicals manufacturer based in India announced its results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

Q1 Results- QoQ

The company’s net profit grew 6.5% to Rs 11.58 crores ($1.6 million) for the period ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 10.87 crores ($1.5 million) for the previous quarter.

Net sales declined 8% to Rs 197.95 crores ($26.7 million) during the period ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 214.69 crores ($28.9 million) during the previous quarter.

Q1 Results- YoY

The company’s net profit dropped 7.2% to Rs 11.58 crores ($1.6 million) for the period ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 12.48 crores ($1.7 million) for the prior-year quarter.

Net sales increased 30.3% to Rs 197.95 crores ($26.7 million) during the period ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 151.93 crores ($20.5 million) during the prior-year quarter.

Vishnu Chemicals Ltd is engaged in the business of manufacture and selling of barium and chromium compounds.
