India’s TANFAC Industries receives approval for HF Plant expansion

TANFAC Industries Limited has obtained the necessary approval from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board to proceed with the proposed expansion of their Hydrofluoric Acid Plant in Cuddalore.

The expansion will increase the plant’s capacity by 14,850 MT, with an estimated project cost of Rs 1 billion.

This will help the Company to complete the proposed expansion plan within the scheduled implementation timeline of 15 to 18 months.

This significant milestone marks a crucial step in TANFAC Industries’ ambitious growth plan. K. Sendhil Naathan, the Managing Director of TANFAC Industries, expressed his satisfaction, stating:

“This is one of the important milestones in our ambitious growth plan, and we are delighted to have received the Consent to Establish from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. We are thankful to the board for promptly granting the consent within a short period of time. This will enable us to complete the expansion plan and commence operations within the scheduled timeline of 15 to 18 months.”
