India’s Mangalore Chemicals Reports 121% YoY Net Profit Growth in Q1FY21-22

Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers Ltd., a chemical fertilizer manufacturer based in India announced its results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

Q1 Results- QoQ

The company’s net profit grew 65.2% to Rs 24.32 crores ($3.3 million) for the period ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 14.72 crores ($2 million) for the previous quarter.

Net sales increased 15% to Rs 693.12 crores ($93.5 million) during the period ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 602.73 crores ($81.3 million) during the previous quarter.

Q1 Results- YoY

The company’s net profit grew 121% to Rs 24.32 crores ($3.3 million) for the period ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 11.01 crores ($1.5 million) for the prior-year quarter.

Net sales increased 29.5% to Rs 693.12 crores ($93.5 million) during the period ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 535.34 crores ($72.2 million) during the prior-year quarter.

Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers Ltd is engaged in the business of manufacture and selling of NPK fertilizers, pesticides and other plant growth nutrients.
