India’s Gulshan Polyols Reports 406% YoY Net Profit Growth in Q1FY21-22

Gulshan Polyols Ltd., a sugars and other chemicals manufacturer based in India announced its results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

Q1 Results- QoQ

The company’s net profit grew 21.6% to Rs 26.19 crores ($3.5 million) for the period ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 21.54 crores ($2.9 million) for the previous quarter.

Net sales increased 4.5% to Rs 238.96 crores ($32.1 million) during the period ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 228.65 crores ($30.7 million) during the previous quarter.

Q1 Results- YoY

The company’s net profit grew 406% to Rs 26.19 crores ($3.5 million) for the period ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 5.18 crores ($0.7 million) for the prior-year quarter.

Net sales increased 97.4% to Rs 238.96 crores ($32.1 million) during the period ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 121.03 crores ($16.3 million) during the prior-year quarter.

Gulshan Polyols is mainly engaged in the business of manufacture and selling of starch sugars and Calcium Carbonate. The company is one of the leading producer of Sorbitol.
