DCM Shriram Reports 25% Decline in Net Profit for Q4 2021

DCM Shriram Limited, an Indian Chloralkali and PVC manufacturer announced its results for the final quarter & year ended March 31, 2021.

Q4 Results

The company’s net profit declined 25% to Rs 19.51 ($2.6 million) for the period ended March 31, 2021 as against a net loss of Rs 25.98 crores ($3.5 million) for the period ended March 31, 2020.

Net sales grew by 11% to Rs 522.7 crores ($70.3 million) during the period ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 471.47 crores ($63.4 million) during the period ended March 31, 2020.

Full-Year Results

For the full-year period ended March 31, 2021, the company’s net profit declined by 32.5% to Rs 64.75 crores ($8.7 million) as against Rs 95.89 crores ($12.9 million) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2020.

The company’s net sales dropped 8% to Rs 1960.19 crores ($263.6 million) during the full-year period ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 1818.88 crores ($244.6 million) during the full-year period end-ed March 31, 2020.
