Aksharchem announced the stoppage of vinyl sulphone (VS) production at its plant Indrad, Gujarat for maintenance.
The company informed that the VS plant is due for maintenance since last maintenance which was taken five years before.
Considering the planned maintenance and also ongoing prevailing adverse market condition in the recent months the company has decided to take planned maintenance and stop the production of VS with immediate effect.
Aksharchem informed that the dispatch operations of the company remain “as usual” and it will foresee that in near future the market conditions will become favorable and the production of VS get resumed.
