Advansa GmbH, manufacturer of polyester fibers announced on January 29 that PT Asia Pacific Fibers will acquire all the assets of Advansa GmbH as well as the other relevant companies of the Advansa Group.
Advansa Marketing GmbH, Hamm, as well as Bergers Technik und Maschinenbau GmbH, Hamm, among others will be included under the deal.
Advansa signed the agreement with the Investment Holding Sverige Netherlands B.V., an affiliate with the major shareholders of the manufacturer of polyester PT Asia Pacific Fibers Tbk. (APF), Jakarta/Indonesia.
APF manufactures and markets polyester chips, staple fibers, filament yarns and fleece fabrics along with captive PTA.

All the Advansa technology and trademarks will remain with the group, including the rights to former DuPont polyester technology and brands in Greater Europe.
Approximately 165 Advansa employees will continue with the Advansa Group, along with all relevant intellectual property, equipment, technology and brands. The closing of the transaction is in preparation and is expected in about one month after completion of usual conditions.
