Net sales decreased 3% to Rs 165.86 crores ($22.2 million) for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 171.03 crores ($22.9 million) during the prior-year quarter.
Full-Year Results
The company’s net profit rose 11% to Rs 72.95 crores ($9.7 million) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2020 as against Rs 65.74 crores ($8.8 million) last financial year.
The company has reported net sales of Rs 583.03 crores ($77.9 million) during the full-year period ended March 31, 2020, a 4.8% drop as compared to Rs 612.37 crores ($81.8 million) last financial year.
The company has reported EPS of Rs 130.59 ($1.75) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 117.69 ($1.57) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2019.
The Company has evaluated the impact of COVID-19 on its financial statements based on the internal and external information up to the date of approval of these financial statements. The Company expects to recover the carrying amount of inventories, receivables and other assets and does not foresee any material impact on liquidity and assumption of going concern.
