Paushak Reports 18.3% Drop in YoY Net Profit Growth for Q2 FY20-21

Paushak Ltd., a specialty chemicals manufacturer based in India announced its results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2020.

Q2 Results- QoQ

The company’s net profit declined 29.2% to Rs 6.11 crores for the period ended September 30, 2020 as against net profit of Rs 8.63 crores for the previous quarter.

Net sales fell 9.5% to Rs 30.40 crores during the period ended September 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 33.59 crores during the previous quarter.

Q2 Results- YoY

The company’s net profit declined 18.3% to Rs 6.11 crores for the period ended September 30, 2020 as against net profit of Rs 7.48 crores for the prior-year quarter.

Net sales fell 13.6% to Rs 30.40 crores during the period ended September 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 35.20 crores during the prior-year quarter.

Half-Year Results- YoY

The company’s net profit dropped 15.8% to Rs 14.75 crores for the 6 months period ended September 30, 2020 as against net profit of Rs 17.52 crores for the prior-year 6 months period.

Net sales decreased 11% to Rs 63.99 crores during the 6 months period ended September 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 71.83 crores during the prior-year 6 months period.
