India’s Chemcon Speciality Chemicals Reports 58.3% Net Profit Growth for Q4 YoY FY20-21

Chemcon Speciality Chemicals Limited, an Indian specialty chemicals manufacturer announced its results for the last quarter & period ended March 31, 2021.

Q4 Results- YoY

The company’s net profit grew 58.3% to Rs 15.5 crores ($2.1 million) for the period ended March 31, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 9.79 crores ($1.3 million) for the prior-year quarter.

Net sales increased 39% to Rs 74.6 crores ($10.3 million) during the period ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 53.77 crores ($7.4 million) during the prior-year quarter.

Full-Year Results

The company’s net profit increased 15.44% to Rs 56.39 crores ($7.8 million) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2021 as against Rs 48.85 crores ($6.7 million) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2020.

The company has reported net sales of Rs 248.12 crores ($34.1 million) during the full-year period ended March 31, 2021, a 7% drop as compared to Rs 266.01 crores ($36.6 million) during the full-year period ended March 31, 2020.

Low costs on raw materials and strong margins in pharmaceutical chemicals segment led to the growth in net profit for the full-year.
