India’s BHEL signs MoU with Greenstat for Hydrogen Tech

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Greenstat Hydrogen India to explore future collaboration opportunities in green hydrogen and derivatives in the hydrogen value chain.

BHEL in a statement said that the MoU is for “Potential Collaboration Opportunities in Green Hydrogen and Derivatives in the Hydrogen Value Chain. This MoU will pave the way for collaboration in the hydrogen value chain, contributing towards ‘National Hydrogen Mission’ of the Government of India, making India ‘Atmanirbhar’”.

S Prabhakar, GM & Head (Coal to Chemicals), and Sturle Harald Pedersen, Chairman, Greenstat Hydrogen India, signed the MoU in the presence of Upinder Singh Matharu, Director (Power) – BHEL, Jai Prakash Srivastava, Director (ER&D) & Director (Finance) – Additional Charge – BHEL, Jeewan Prakash Gupta, MD, Greenstat Hydrogen India and other senior officials of BHEL.

Greenstat Hydrogen India, an Indian subsidiary of Norwegian company Greenstat Group focuses on the development and promotion of hydrogen-related technologies and solutions.
