Indian Toners Reports 40.5% Decline in Net Profit for FY19-20

Indian Toners & Developers Ltd., a toner manufacturer based in India announced its results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2020.

Q4 Results

The company’s net profit decreased 37% to Rs 2.82 crores ($ million) for the period ended March 31, 2020 as against net profit of Rs 4.47 crores ($ million) during the prior-year quarter.

Net sales declined 31% to Rs 22.21 crores ($ million) during the period ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 32.11 crores ($ million) for the prior-year quarter.

Full-Year Results

The company’s net profit declined 40.5% to Rs 11.86 crores ($ million) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2020 as against net profit of Rs 19.93 crores ($ million) during the last financial year.

The company has reported net sales of Rs 98.60 crores ($ million) during the full-year period ended March 31, 2020, a 19% decline as compared to Rs 121.77 crores ($ million) during the last financial year.

On the impact of the pandemic on its business, Indian Toners & Developers in its stock exchange filing said, “The Company is closely monitoring the impact of the pandemic on all aspects of its business, including how it will impact its customers, employees, vendors and business partners. The said impact assessment is ongoing process considering various external factors associated with COVID-19.”
