India Pesticides Limited has received environment clearance to build its agrochemicals and intermediates plant in Uttar Pradesh (Northern India).
An environmental permit has been granted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Impact Assessment Division), Government of India to the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Shalvis Specialties Ltd (SSL).
This Hamirpur (UP) plant is purposed to produce agrochemicals and intermediates, active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) Ingredients & Intermediates, and Fine Chemicals.
IPL produces a variety of pharmaceutical intermediates as well as technical and formulation pesticides. Agrochemicals made up roughly 95% of the company’s total sales in FY22, while pharmaceutical intermediates made up only about 5% of those sales.
IPL’s focus is on manufacturing technology, despite the fact that company sells a variety of formulations under various brands in the Indian market. In both the Indian and international markets, IPL’s products are well-known.
