Gabriel Performance Products, a U.S.-based leading specialty chemicals company serving the coatings, adhesives, and composite end markets, announces the acquisition of a select portfolio of alkyd resins from Deltech Resin Company.
Gabriel has purchased a subset of Deltech’s alkyd resin product line. Gabriel will produce these products in its Harrison City, PA facility, home of its Ranbar alkyd resin technology. The products are highly complementary to Gabriel’s current offering of alkyd resins.
The Gabriel sales team will work with customers to ensure a smooth transition.
Deltech remains an active producer of specialty alkyds and other products for the coatings market and expects no changes to their New Cumberland, WV facility.
The transaction marks Gabriel’s 5th acquisition since 2014 and builds on its focus of growing its proprietary product portfolio serving the CASE end market.
