DCM Shriram Reports Decline in Profit

DCM Shriram Limited, an Indian Chloralkali and PVC manufacturer has reported financial results for the period ended March 31, 2020.

Q4 Results

The company’s net profit declined by 29.01% to Rs.207.38 crores ($27.5 million) for the period ended March 31, 2020 as against Rs. 292.14 crores ($38.7 million) for the period ended March 31, 2019.

The company’s net income remained flat at Rs.1928.77 crores ($255.4 million) during the period ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs. 1928.64 crores ($255.4 million) during the period ended March 31, 2019.

Full-Year Results

The company’s net profit dropped by 20.3% to Rs.719.42 crores ($95.3 million) for the 12 months period ended March 31, 2020 as against net profit of Rs.902.61 crores ($119.5 million) for the 12 months period ended March 31, 2019.

The company has reported total income of Rs.7869.55 crores ($1.04 billion) during the 12 months period ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs.7858.78 crores ($1.04 billion) during the 12 months period ended March 31, 2019.

The company has reported EPS (earnings per share) of Rs.45.96 ($0.61) for the 12 months period ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs.57.09 ($0.76) for the 12 months period ended March 31, 2019.
