Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd., a fertilizer and chemicals manufacturer based in India announced its results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2020.
Q1 Results- QoQ
The company’s net profit increased 51.2% to Rs 298.78 crores ($40 miilion) for the period ended June 30, 2020 as against net profit of Rs 197.55 crores ($26.4 miilion) for the previous quarter.
Net sales grew 62.5% to Rs 3246.10 crores ($434.3 miilion) during the period ended June 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 1997.79 crores ($267.3 miilion) during the previous quarter.

The company’s net profit increased 77% to Rs 298.78 crores ($40 miilion) for the period ended June 30, 2020 as against net profit of Rs 168.74 crores ($23 million) for the prior-year quarter.
Net sales grew 13% to Rs 3246.10 crores ($434.3 miilion) during the period ended June 30, 2020 as compared to Rs 2880.28 crores ($385.3 miilion) during the prior-year quarter.
Chambal Fertilisers said there was no impact of COVID-19 pandemic on its operations during the quarter as the company was able to operate its plants at normal levels. “The company’s production, dispatches, sales and market collections remained unaffected,” it said in the filing.
