Azelis, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients, announced the opening of a new Lubricants application laboratory in Hannover, Germany.
Based on cooperation with the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hannover, this new Azelis lab is located in the Institute of Machine Construction and Tribology (IMKT).
With this lab, the company can offer its customers performance testing and advanced measurements with state of the art equipment handled by its experienced lab team. The unique collaboration with the IMKT also allows the Azelis lab to stay on top of trends and developments in Lubricants.
Dr. Hatem Baly, Azelis Technical Manager L&MWF (Lubricants & Metal Working Fluids) EMEA said, “With the new Lubricants lab, we offer complete project management to our customers: starting with giving product and formulation recommendations, going to executing analysis and preliminary formulation tests to creating dossiers for OEM approvals.
“The advanced equipment in the lab allows different ways of testing: on the tribological side, and also on the analytical side, with foam test equipment, an infrared spectrometer and so on.”
