DCW Ltd., an Indian chlor-alkali and PVC manufacturer has reported financial results for the period ended March 31, 2021.
Q4 Results
The company’s net profit grew to Rs 6.46 crores ($0.89 million) for the period ended March 31, 2021 as against a net loss of Rs 25.05 crores ($3.4 million) for the period ended March 31, 2020.
Net sales increased 55.3% to Rs 462.95 crores ($63.5 million) during the period ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 298.14 crores ($40.9 million) during the period ended March 31, 2020.
Full-Year Results
The company posted a net profit of Rs 3.79 crores ($0.52 million) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2021 as against a net loss of Rs 26.76 crores ($3.7 million) for the full-year period ended March 31, 2020.
The company has reported net sales of Rs 1475.59 crores ($202.4 million) during the full-year period ended March 31, 2021, an increase of 15% as compared to Rs 1285.81 crores ($176.4 million) during the full-year period ended March 31, 2020.
“The outbreak of corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic globally and in India is causing disturbance and slowdown of economic activity. The Company’s operations and revenue during the current quarter were impacted due to COVID-19,” the company stated in its stock exchange filing.
