India’s Rama Phosphates begins Commercial Production of Sulphuric Acid

Rama Phosphates has commenced commercial production of Sulphuric Acid and its derivatives from the new manufacturing facility (Unit-2) at its existing factory premises at Indore with effect from February 23, 2021.

With this capacity addition of 55,000 tons per annum (TPA) from Unit-2, the company’s overall annual production capacity of Sulphuric Acid would be 155,000 TPA from its Indore manufacturing facility.

Cholo Sulphonic Acid with the capacity of 9000 TPA, Liquid SO3 with 20,000 TPA capacity and other derivatives have also begin production at its Indore unit.

Rama Phosphates is engaged in manufacturing phosphatic fertilizers viz. Single Super Phosphate (SSP) in Powder as well as Granule form, Mixed fertilizers namely NPK of various grades, Fortified fertilizer namely Boronated Single Super Phosphate (Powder and Granule), Micronutrients namely Magnesium Sulphate.
