India’s Privi Speciality Chemicals Reports 38% YoY Net Profit Growth in Q1FY21-22

Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd., a specialty chemicals manufacturer based in India announced its results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

Q1 Results- QoQ

The company’s net profit dropped 51.1% to Rs 29.25 crores ($3.9 million) for the period ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 59.86 crores ($8 million) for the previous quarter.

Net sales decreased 6% to Rs 336.52 crores ($45.2 million) during the period ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 357.5 crores ($48 million) during the previous quarter.

Q1 Results- YoY

The company’s net profit grew 38% to Rs 29.25 crores ($3.9 million) for the period ended June 30, 2021 as against net profit of Rs 21.22 crores ($2.9 million) for the prior-year quarter.

Net sales increased 14.4% to Rs 336.52 crores ($45.2 million) during the period ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 294.23 crores ($39.5 million) during the prior-year quarter.

Privi Speciality Chemicals is engaged in the business of manufacture and selling of Amber fleur, Acetates, Dihydromyrcenol, Ionones, Nitriles, Sandal wood derivatives and other Specialty chemicals.
